The most famous honey from Wadi Duan in Hadramaut, Yemen. Limited stocks of this fine honey is available annually. Beekeepers harvest this rare Sidr honey from the tabletop mountains of Wadi Duan from the wild Sidr trees in a 40 day window during the winter months.

This is considered the best honey in the world due to its marvelous taste, fragrance and health promoting benefits and because it is difficult to harvest and is highly sought after in the Gulf states,it is also known as one of the most expensive honey in the world. It has a unique wonderful floral scent. The Sidr Tree has been cited by both folk and western medicine for its pharmaceutical value.The thick viscosity of this golden to deep amber honey ensures a smooth velvety taste which is pleasantly rich and never cloying sweet 

A rare honey, the Bagheyah Sidr nectar has a higher concentration of active ingredients than normal Sidr honey.

We traverse 300km into the desert and a days hike up the tabletop mountains of Wadi Du'an where we harvest the wild honey from small cell bee hives.

This honey comes from the nectar of the medicinal Sidr tree famous in Ancient and Religious texts like the Holy Quran and Bible.
